Come on in — this one is for the mornings that start with an errand and end up lasting all day.

Leopard, but gentle about it. A soft peony pink, a smoky gravel gray, or a warm golden apricot, each with a clean white stripe running down the sleeve and the outside seam. The top is easy and roomy through the middle with a three-quarter sleeve that hits right where you want it. The pants are a true wide leg with a stay-put elastic waist.

Here is the short version: two pieces, one decision, and you are dressed. Pull it on for the school run at seven in the morning and you are still perfectly put together when somebody suggests lunch.

And it comes apart. The top goes with your jeans. The pants go with a plain white tee and sandals. One set, three outfits — that is the kind of math we like around here.

Nothing about it asks you to suck anything in or stand a certain way. It just fits, and it keeps fitting on the days it does not feel like fitting. You are beautiful at any age, and this one knows it.

Fit & Sizing

Relaxed through the top and the leg. If you are between sizes and you like a little more room, size up — but most of us will be happy in our usual size. Measurements below are taken flat and unstretched, in inches.

How to Measure Yourself

Use a soft tape measure over close-fitting clothes, not over a sweater. Keep the tape level and snug but not tight.

Bust — around the fullest part of your bust, tape level all the way around.
Waist — around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button.
Hip — around the fullest part of your hips, roughly 8 inches below your waist.

Between two sizes? Size up for woven fabrics with no stretch, and size down if you want a closer fit in a knit. The product page fit note will tell you which applies.

A Note on Fit

Cut changes everything. The same body measurement wears differently depending on how a piece is made:

Relaxed or oversized — designed to skim, not fit close. Take your usual size unless you want less volume.
Smocked or elastic — forgiving across a wide range. Usually true to size.
Woven with no stretch — the least forgiving. Size up if you're between sizes.
One size fits most — generally comfortable through a Small to Large range.
Unisex — cut straighter through the body. Many women size down one.
